Webster University Ranked High

Webster University Named to Top Tier Universities in Midwest

According to the 2008 America's Best Colleges edition of U.S. News & World Report, Webster University achieved a high ranking.  We are assigned to the "Universities-Masters" category which is composed of comprehensive institutions that provide a full range of undergraduate and masters programs. There are 557 universities in our category and each is ranked in one of four tiers within each area - North, South, Midwest and West. Webster ranks 26th in "Best Universities" (comprehensive/regional) which puts us firmly in the top tier.

The ranking criteria included but were not exclusive to peer assessment, average retention rate, average graduation rate, class percentage, student/faculty ratio, and acceptance rate.

Another section of the publication lists schools with outstanding examples of academic programs that are believed to lead to student success. Higher education experts identified eight types of “distinctive” programs for the section and U.S. News & World Report invited college presidents, chief academic officers and deans of students to nominate up to ten institutions with “stellar examples of each program type.”

Webster University has been awarded with a distinction in the Study Abroad category.  This is due to Webster University having campuses located in St. Louis (USA), Geneva, Vienna, London, Leiden, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chengdu (China), Cha-am (Thailand) and Osaka (Japan), which give students the opportunity to study abroad while pursuing the same degree programme.

You can be confident that a degree from Regent's American College London is recognised for it’s academic rigueur and standing around the world.

"After finishing my High School education in South Africa I left for the US on a tennis scholarship. While I was there I completed 3 years of 4 year BA degree. After leaving the US I started work in London until I realised that I could finish my undergraduate degree and go on to complete a Masters degree at the Regent’s American College London and Webster Graduate School respectively. I graduated with a BA in Management in December 2001 and an MA in Computer Resources and Information Management in May 2003.  The London campus of Webster University is truly magnificent as it is in a beautiful part of Central London."
