Access to classes

Some classes are delivered in teaching rooms accessed via stairs. If you have a condition that affects your mobility and you require ground floor rooms, or rooms with lift access, please notify Registry as soon as possible. You are also advised to contact the Disability Officer.

Off Campus Teaching – Study Abroad Students

Students with long-term health conditions and disabilities, please be aware that some courses include off-campus teaching sessions. For example, this may involve visiting historical sites, galleries or theatres. Although many of these are fully accessible by wheelchair, a very small number may have limited accessibility by stairs. Therefore, if a student has a physical disability or long-term health condition that may impact  their ability to travel to or access off-campus teaching, they are strongly advised to make staff aware of this at the earliest possible opportunity. Staff can liaise with the Disability Officer as necessary.
