Learning Outcomesknowledge of the development and current state of the various forms of mass communication an understanding of basic concepts and theories of the function and functioning of the mass media acquaintance with the major players in the mass media as well as the major figures in mass communication studies and research an understanding of different concepts and theories of the effects of the mass media knowledge of the industrial and economic factors that determine the production and reception of mass media products
