Learning Outcomes
  • Record business transactions and prepare a trial balance. 
    Understand and explain the concepts of Accounting.
  • Show adjustments to the trial balance and account for
  • Accruals, prepayments, depreciation and bad debts.
  • Calculate the values of stock inventory.
  • Prepare financial statements for a Limited Company.
  • Prepare and explain a cash flow statement.
  • Calculate ratios and measure the performance of a company
PresentationBrief lecture on each new topic, followed by demonstrations and illustrations of worked examples, which is carried out using the whiteboard combined with slides on the overhead project.
