Learning Outcomes	a thorough knowledge of the media systems in various countries an understanding in how mass media products are perceived in different countries and cultures an enhanced sophistication in defining and evaluating the role played by the mass media and people working within the mass media play in acquainting us with foreign nations an understanding of the industrial, political and economic factors that determine the work of foreign correspondents

Pre-Requisites	Usually sophomore standing or permission of the instructor.
