  • By the end of this course, students will have acquired a basic understanding of:
    The chronological history of the origins of psychology, and the historical context surrounding the major ideas that led to its development.
  • The key figures and schools of thought in the history of psychology.
  • The historical perspective of some of the more recent areas within psychology.
PresentationTwo weekly sessions, consisting of lectures and in class exercises
Pre-RequisitesPSYC1100 and 6 credit hours of psychology; or permission of the instructor.
