Learning Outcomes

Primary goals of this course are;
to introduce students to the psychology of human personality and to provide them with coverage of the major theories of personality.

  • to help students to gain an appreciation of the variety of ways in which personality development is conceptualized.
  • to help students to become aware of the implications and applications of theories of human nature covered in the course.
  • to encourage students to adopt an analytical and creative approach.
PresentationTeaching will involve a variety of methods including lectures, PowerPoint presentations, Q&A, videos as well as class activities such as group work, group discussions and students’ presentations.
Pre-RequisitesPSYC1100 and 6 credit hours of psychology; or permission of the instructor
