Arriving in London
Using public transport in a new city can be confusing at first,
so it is wise to make preperations in advance.
Please see the following pages for information on how to travel
to Regent's College from London airports or via the Eurostar. If
you are travelling by another means on transport, or flying in to
an airport outside of London, and would like advice, please just
get in touch
with the IPO.
Once in London, public transport or taxis are often the easiest
way to get around.
Taxis
Heathrow, Luton, Stanstead and Gatwick airports are all some
distance from central London. Taxi fares are therefore quite
expensive - a taxi fare to Regent's College could cost up to
£100.
Public Transport
An Oyster Card is the cheapest way to travel on Londoon buses,
the Underground and Overground rail lines. They can be purchased in
any tube station - we strongly recommend that all students purchase
an Oyster Card at the first opportunity. More information is
avaliable here.
All mainline train stations in central London are served by the
London Underground (the tube). We recommend students travel by tube
- the closest station to Regent's College is Baker Street
station - you can plan your journey here.
